Some other projects I've completed.

I thought it might be fun to show you a few of the other projects that I've completed recently. I'm very new to papercrafting and don't have a lot to show in that area yet, but what I've enjoyed over the past year has been taking found items from thrift shops and Goodwill, and transforming them into something new. That's really my passion. Of course, where does one go with all of this stuff???? Egad. But it's so much fun that I can't seem to stop. :0) I'll have to learn how to add actual smiley buttons because it seems like I'm always making one.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of tags that I showed yesterday, but hopefully they are more clear now that Gina helped me. I'm not sure why one of the pictures is sideways...

It doesn't show up very well, but I've been playing with UTEE and trying to make charms. Luckily, I love the old, tattered, stained, and worn look, and I think that's what I happened to get. :0)

Isn't that the cutest little heart and key?? I love keys! Well, I love lots of things - I have too many collections to count, but I'll save that topic for a different day. Anyway, I apologize that it's not a very clear picture, but the key and heart are a Martha Stewert punch, and then I just embossed them in gold.

And here are two other projects.

I just got sidetracked and was reviewing all of my photos and it's a shame that I've never taken "before" photos. Sometimes the change is remarkable! Oh, well. Anyway, this chest was one that I found at Goodwill. It's a jewelry box and I made it for my girls for Christmas last year.

And these numbered boxes are actually cannisters for your flour and sugar and whatnot. I happend to run into a friend of mine while out thrifting and she convinced me to buy two of the plain boxes to redo. She bought the other two. After I did them, I loved them so much I then had to go and ask her if I could have hers! She was going to sell them in her shop, but I haven't been able to part with them yet. I love anything with numbers or letters...

That's all for now.

More photos. I am on fire now...

Boy, this is just too much fun. You all are going to get tired of my pictures. I don't have anything witty or relevent to say, so you'll have to make do with this.
:0)

I do want to thank Gina for helping me with the how-tos. I really appreciate it and am loving the clarity of the images.

Karen

Sorry, I'm just going to keep posting pictures until I get it right. You'll get to see all of my projects in the same day!

Still here and trying to get this right...

All right, well how do you like my lovely pictures??? HA!

Well, that didn't work very well... I have a LOT to learn, I guess. Like how to edit my errors?? LOL! Also, my photos are very large and blurry.

I'll try again.

Crafting, crafting, and crafting some more...

Good Morning! My son has been after me to start a blog, so here I am. I thought it might be fun to document some of my projects and scenes from our busy life with five children.

I'm going to try and post some pictures, and I'll be off and running!
