Here's a photo of the unappetizer... I mean appetizer my husband made. That gelatinous stuff is herring. I was a party pooper and couldn't bring myself to even sample this dish. Thankfully, everything else was tasty! 
Goulash over spatzel, bratwurst, asparagus with Hollandaise sauce.
These apple turnovers had to substitute for streudel. We also had Black Forest cake.
We got our son an amp for his guitar. I found the perfect cutting file of an acoustic guitar over at Penny Duncan Creations and made him a matching card. http://pennyduncancreations.blogspot.com/ Check her out if you have a cutting machine and MTC or SCAL.
